Hello, my name is Carol. I am a 40(ish) mom who tries to finish each day having accomplished something. Even if it is just getting the dishes washed. I grew up in a Connecticut suburb and went of to the Navy when I was 18. Actually my mother signed me up when I was 17, but I don’t really think she was trying to move me out of the house, do you?
I spent 20 years in the Navy as a Corpsman, and loved every minute, (except duty days). My last command was HM-14 with MH-53 helicopters. I must say that was my favorite job in the Navy. I loved the helicopters, the people and my boss.
I currently work as a Skin Care Specialist at Quarles Dermatology here in Southeast Virginia Hampton Roads area. I have been there 8 years and love my job! I am able to make a positive impact in people’s lives by helping them feel better about their face. That is a wonderful thing!
I have two biological sons and one step son. I have been in a wonderful relationship for 8 years, and am very happy.
